The North Shore is a Chattanooga neighborhood rather than a separate town, sitting on the north bank of the Tennessee River around Frazier Avenue and Coolidge Park. A lot of the housing is early twentieth century — Craftsman homes, bungalows and cottages — and the lots were laid out to match, which is to say small.
That makes for a different job than a suburban half acre. Yards are compact and often fenced, driveways are short or missing entirely, and on the busier streets there's nowhere obvious to put a truck and trailer. The cutting is quick once we're parked. Getting parked is the part that takes planning.
